PJ Gustafsson is a Scandanavian Legend. He's one of the Swedish pro snowboarders whose influence can't be overstated. PJ shares stories about his life in snowboarding including TBI's (traumatic brain injuries), heavy drinking and partying, recovery, and balancing people's expectations and staying alive. We originally recorded years ago and the tape was lost so it was amazing to sit wth PJ at Holy Bowly and get it down properly. In celebration of his episode we are giving away his Death Label pro model (the Boneless) with a pair of Union bindings. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Save A Brain foundation.
Peter Line is one of the greatest innovators in early snowboarding. His parts in the Transworld Video Magazine series and early Mack Dawg films featured tricks he created that are still evolving many years later. Peter is a staple of the Pacific Northwest group of pro riders who ushered in the era of lightning fast progression. He designed pro models on Division 23 as a teenager and started Forum with some world class partners when he was just 21 years old. I got to ride opening day at Mt. Baker with Peter Line and I am excited to have this recording of our conversation afterwards.
Jamie Lynn is a legendary founding father of freestyle snowboarding. Hailing from the PNW Jamie is a soft spoken absolute ripper who always let his riding do the talking. With 30 years of pro models on LibTech Snowboards and 30 years with Vans Snowboard boots, he's one of the most recognized influences on snowboarding's culture. I was absolutely honoured to meet and talk with him at his compound in Washington just a few hours south of Vancouver.
